As spring begins to reintroduce her light to us, people emerge from their northern domains- some bearing cameras with which to record the event. While many photographers use their camera to document what they find, others are interested in expressing their intuitive reactions to- and interactions with- their subjects. Others, still, step into the process itself, in order to document the documenting; they share with the viewer the story behind the artistic process of photography. Julia Babb and Natalie Marie Domka are two such photographers working in the latter, more playful veins.
Fresh Art
For 2008, WARM's Fresh Art! series will be co-coordinated by Kit Eastman and Brenna Busse. Fresh Art! is moving to a new location - the St. Anthony Park Public Library auditorium, 2245 Como Avenue in St. Paul, MN 55108. Fresh Art! will continue to be held on the 4th Thursday of the month from 7-9 pm, with a few exceptions due to holidays or library closing.
Fresh Art! is a monthly meeting presented by WARM for members (non-members are also welcome). Each meeting presents an art topic, followed by attendees sharing new work they have created. Some meetings are devoted to a hands-on art activity. In 2008, we have some exciting topics on the list! Mimi Holmes will complete her slide lectures on art by women.
March Fresh Art
When: Thursay April 24th from 6:45-8:45 p.m. (Note we've moved the meeting a little earlier because we must be out of the auditorium by 8:45.)

What: Hands on! Make and trade! Come and create several small works of art-
3 1/2 X 2 1/2 inches-and become part of the ATC movement! Started in 1996 by Zurich artist M. Vanci Stirnemann, the only thing constant is size-the media is up to you!
We will have a variety of card stock cut to size and some basic supplies, such as: stamps and ink, collage books, glue, paper cutter. Please bring your favorite media to work with. The goal is to make as many pieces as people present, so we create and collect-all in one evening!!!

WARM Coffee
