Call for Submissions | On View at ACC
The American Craft Council is seeking local and regional artists and organizations to display work at ACC headquarters in Minneapolis. The work will be on display for library and office visitors as examples of work supported by ACC. Preference is given to works using clay, fiber, glass, metal, paper, or wood. Work will be displayed for approximately two months, during which time the artist will be featured on ACC’s website and is encouraged to give an artist talk. Artists must install and take down their work.
The first available date to display work is September 4, 2017; each display will run for 6 to 8 weeks. As this display program is ongoing, please submit your application at least one month prior to desired start date. Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and applicants will be notified if their work is accepted as space becomes available.
All interested parties should submit an artist statement, desired display start date, and appropriate images to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: APPLICATION FOR OVACC.
Currently on view at the American Craft Council office is a joint display, featuring jewelry by artist Lindsay Locatelli and neon, ceramic lamps by Erin Smith.
