Artistry is pleased to announce Artistry Awash, an exhibition and festival celebrating nationally- and internationally-recognized Minnesota watercolorists, their work, and the watercolor medium. In addition to the exhibition, the festival will include master classes, hands-on workshops, an artist demonstration, a watercolor “wash-off” competition, and a panel discussion held by a selection of the exhibiting artists. Artistry Awash is sponsored by Wet Paint, Inc.
Exhibiting Artists: Artistry Awash features the work of Cheng-Khee Chee (Duluth, MN), Andy Evansen (Vermillion, MN), Stan Fellows (Aurora, CA), Jane Freeman (Bemidji, MN), Terry Genesen-Becker (Minneapolis, MN), Sandra Muzzy (Bloomington, MN), John Salimen (Duluth, MN), and Nanci Yermakoff (Saint Paul, MN).

Artists Panel Discussion: Tuesday, September 6, 7:00pm
An informal discussion with participating exhibiting artists. Come with questions; share ideas. Featuring Andy Evansen, Nanci Yermakoff, John Salminen, and Sandra Muzzy.
Watercolor Wash-Off Competition: Saturday, September 24, 1:00-3:00 p.m.
An “iron-chef” style competition where three talented watercolorists compete to complete the best painting in one hour’s time. Competing artists are yet to be announced.

Gallery Location and Hours: The Inez Greenberg Gallery is located on the main level of the Bloomington Center for the Arts at 1800 W. Old Shakopee Road in Bloomington, MN. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. There is no admission fee.
