Ames Center Art Gallery
The Ames Center Art Gallery is proud to present Brilliant Passages the Minnesota Watercolor Society’s Fall Exhibition featuring over 80 artists. The show is juried by Sally Johnson of the Groveland Gallery in Minneapolis.
The Minnesota Watercolor Society (MNWS) is one of the largest associations of watercolor artists in the mid-West with over 325 members. Over 60 of those members will showcase their work in this juried exhibition.
The Minnesota Watercolor Society was founded in 1982 under the name Twin Cities Watercolor Society with the shared agreement that there was a need to bring together watercolor artists to share ideas, exhibit artwork, sponsor demonstrations and learn as much as possible about the medium. As the organization grew the name became Minnesota Watercolor Society to welcome artists from greater Minnesota.
The free reception for Brilliant Passages will be held in the Ames Center’s beautiful 2,000 square foot art gallery on Friday, November 6th from 6:00p – 8:00p with the awards presentation at 7:00p. Refreshments provided.
