About our collaborators:

Our Curation Team is from Avivo ArtWorks (formerly Spectrum ArtWorks). Avivo ArtWorks supports artists who are committed to their art careers and fighting mental heath stigma.

As a collective of artists, we embrace diversity, build community and present publicly. In doing so, we are challenging mental health stigma, and demonstrating that people living with mental illness can achieve success in art and life. We also aim towards building personal leadership, encouraging individuality, and supporting one another in our lives and in recovery.

The Show Gallery Lowertown is a unique success story in creating an inclusive, professional space that opens creative doors for artists with disabilities.

We exist because of the combined vision of creatives and social service professionals who came together around their passion for the arts, and their quest to create more than just therapeutic art opportunities for those with disabilities.

We settled into one of the most well-established historic arts communities in the nation – Lowertown Saint Paul – where our unique vision for what a truly inclusive arts community could be was not just welcomed by our creative neighbors, but embraced with passion. And now, every day, art happens here.
