Kate Vinson is a fiber sculptor who works with tactile materials like paper and wire.
She loves the physicality of this immersive medium. Kate says:
“I enjoy the action and reaction of making which often reinforces a sense of growth, change, evolution, relationships, organisms, and connections in my artwork. I want the viewer to connect to my work on a personal level wherever that entry point might be and then to take their own artistic journey.”

Kate is a protege in the current WARM mentorship cycle, and she sees her art taking her on her own journey- she’s looking forward to travel, participating in artist residencies and showing in more nationwide exhibitions.
