Meet our new Artist Development Coordinator, Anna Metcalfe! (You may already know her.)
We are very happy to announce that Anna Metcalfe has joined Springboard’s staff as Artist Development Coordinator on December 1. You may have gotten to know Anna through her work as a Work of Art workshop instructor and an adjunct consultant. She will retain those responsibilities in her expanded role as Artist Development Coordinator.
Anna lives and works in the Twin Cities, where she graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2009 with her MFA. Interested in the junction of public art and craft, she makes work inspired by water, agriculture, food and community. As a teaching artist, Metcalfe loves to promote collaboration and interdisciplinary learning environments between the sciences and art-making. She is a recipient of many awards and honors, most recently a FY 2015 MN State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant. You can see her artwork here. She can be reached at email@example.com.
Anna will be teaching a number of the 2015-16 Work of Art workshops in St. Paul and elsewhere in the Twin Cities. Keep an eye on our Workshops page for dates later this month.
