Open to all artists from the international community, ‘GrassRoots’, curated by Pamela Callahan and Deb Flagel, seeks to highlight the interconnectedness of our natural world through social, economic, philosophical and spiritual interactions. How do these ideologies guide to protect our vast, yet fragile ecosystems which are contained in but not limited to wilderness, rural, suburban and urban environments.

Entries of work in all media may be mailed as jpgs on a CD to: GrassRoots, Woman Made Gallery, 685 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL 60642 – or visit www.womanmade.org to submit your entry with digital files (jpgs) online. For video entries submit a still image plus link to your video online.
Entry Fee: $30 for up to three works with one detail per work, if needed.
A limited number of artists who experience financial hardship may be exempt from paying the entry fee; please send us an email to request a fee waiver: firstname.lastname@example.org. The works do not have to be recent and there is no restriction in the creation date. All applicants should submit an artist’s statement explaining how their work relates to the exhibition’s themes. Accepted artworks must not exceed 72″ horizontally and must not have been previously shown at WMG.
**Accepted artists will have the opportunity to request high resolution photo documentation of their work in the gallery.
